Vantage Pro2 includes Vantage Pro2 console, integrated sensor suite, mounting hardware, and AC-power adapter.

Integrated sensor suite includes rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, anemometer, and 40' (12 m) anemometer cable. A 100' (30 m) cable connects the sensor suite to the console.Davis Vantage pro2 are also available in Wireless versions.  Wireless version is the first and only weather stations in their price range to use frequency hopping spread spectrum radio technology. Vantage Pro2 can transmit and receive data up to 1000' (300 m) line of sight. The wireless version sensor suite is solar powered. Electronic components are housed in a weather-resistant shelter. Console will be powered using the 6V Battery charged with AC-power adapter . Wireless range is up to 1000' (300 m) outdoors, line of sight. Typical range through walls under most conditions is 200' to 400' (60 to 120 m).

For improved accuracy, temperature and humidity sensors are housed inside a radiation shield. The shield protects against solar radiation and other sources of radiated and reflected heat. The ISS and Console will be powered by the 6V battery, which will be charged by AC Adapter through charge controller. The Cabled Vantage Pro2 console supply power to the Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS) through the console cable.The complete system can be housed in a weatherproof shelter box for marine weather protection and vandalism.
